This was supposed to be a light hearted blog, but on May 25th 2008, our world changed dramatically due to a disaster. Now this blog will also contain my personal notes on grief and how I'm coping/struggling.

Please tell me...
Please tell me if you ever think of, or talk about Nate. I want and need to know that I'm not the only one holding him alive in my heart. I need to know he's not being forgotten.
I think of him often because him and Brevin were so close in age. I always wonder if Nate would like the same things Brevin is liking these days. And I think about him with big milestone markers. I never even met him, but in our friendship with you, I feel like I had. <3
I think about your whole family often.. specailly Nate. I will take the long way through the hood just to go past your old house to pray, and when I pass Nate's tree with the plaque, I always lift you up in prayer. Not sure why, but for some reason I feel prayers are more powerful meaningful when you are around soenthing symbolic or origin. I wonder what he's playing with in heaven, trains perhaps?
There are many visits from Nate's life but the most recent was yesterday. Anthony was seeing something and wondering how Nate experienced it. Andraya listened and reminded Anthony she was too sad about Nate to play that game.-
I never knew Nate but through your words but there are certain times when something that I see triggers a thought of him and your family. He is alive in so many peoples thoughts and hearts!
